Award announcement for Fakhar Zaman who beat Pakistan

This may be the case if the forehead is bad. Batting first, New Zealand could not win against Pakistan despite scoring 400 runs. They had to lose due to rain. However, batting batsman Fakhar Zaman attacked the Kiwi bowlers right from the start chasing a lofty target of 402 runs. He took the century off just 63 balls.

This batsman has played a big role behind Pakistan’s victory in rain law. He also won the man of the match award after playing a 81-ball 126-run innings. Their cricket board PCB has announced an award for Fakhar for such a performance.

Although chasing a mountainous target, Pakistan stumbled at the beginning. Their opening pair broke in just 6 runs. Then Fakhar Zaman and captain Babar Azam formed a pair. Relying on this pair, Pakistan completed the team’s half-century in 7 over 4 balls, and scored 75 runs in the first power play.

Fakhar Zaman scored a century against New Zealand. He scored a half-century off 39 balls and a century off 63 balls against the Kiwis.

During the 22nd over of Pakistan’s innings, it rained for the first time. Pakistan’s collection was 160 runs after losing 1 wicket in 21.3 overs. The length of the match was reduced by the rain of several hours. The new target for Pakistan is 342 runs in 41 overs.

Shortly after coming down to bat at the new target, the rain struck again. Then Pakistan scored 200 runs in 25 overs losing one wicket in 3 balls. After that it was not possible to continue the game. As a result, Babar’s team won by 21 runs on DL method.

In the end, Fakhar Zaman was unbeaten on 126 runs off 81 balls with 11 sixes and 8 fours. Babar was not out for 66 runs. PCB president Zaka Ashraf later announced the man of the match award for 33-year-old opener Fakhar. The left-handed batsman will be paid Rs 10 lakh.

Zaka Ashraf told Fakhar about the award in a phone call, according to Pakistani media Geo Super. At the same time, he expects the Pakistani opener to give his best in the upcoming matches.

However, Babar’s semi-final is still not certain. They will face England in the next match. The match will be held at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on November 11. Pakistan should win there by a big margin.
