The 23 players called up by Luis de la Fuente for the Nations League to be played in the Netherlands have distributed their numbers this Friday morning, shortly after joining the concentration in the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas.
Among the novelties, Marco Asensio stands out, absent in the last round of the national team, and who recovers the number ’10’, which he already wore at the World Cup in Qatar. Against Norway and Scotland, in Spain’s last two matches -qualifying for Euro 2024-, the ’10’ had fallen on the back of Dani Ceballos, who has not entered this list.
The number ‘5’, which Sergio Busquets -captain of Spain in Qatar- usually wore, will wear it Martin ZubimendiReal Sociedad player and Barcelona’s objective to replace Busquets preciselywho has just finished his time with the Barça team.
Unai Simón, who is also returning to the squad, will wear number ’23’, while number ‘1’ will go to Kepa. Jesús Navas, another of the great novelties, will wear the number ’22’ and Jordi Alba, the new captain of the team, will wear his usual number, ’18’.
Robin Le Normand, a French player for Real Sociedad, who recently became a Spanish national, will wear the ‘3’.
