
Argentina’s World Cup-winning coach Lionel Scaloni has announced a 32-man squad for the World Cup qualifiers. Messi will captain the match against Ecuador and Bolivia. This will be Messi’s first international match since joining Inter Miami.
Coach Lionel Scaloni’s 32-man squad includes Angel Di Maria, who returned to Benfica this year, and defender Nicolas Otamendi. They will be joined by FC Dallas youngster Alan Velasco, Bruno Zappelli and Lucas Esquivel of Brazilian club Atletico Paranaense and Lucas Beltran, who has joined Fiorentina in Italy.
AS Roma striker Paulo Dybala and Ajax goalkeeper Jeremy Rui are out due to injuries.
Argentina’s match against Ecuador will start on September 8 at 6 am Bangladesh time.
