Argentina-Brazil will meet in November in World Cup qualifiers

Qatar World Cup is not over yet. Meanwhile, the 2026 World Cup qualifiers are starting. And in November this year, the arch-rivals of the football world, Argentina and Brazil, are going to face each other. However, the qualifying round of the Latin American region will start in September this year, not in November.

Lionel Messi’s Argentina has regretted 32 years of last World Cup in Qatar. Defeated France in a tiebreaker 4-2 in the final match to decide the title. That comparison pales in comparison to five-time world champions Brazil.

This match will be held in Brazil. The reigning world champions will be hosted by the country that has won the highest title in football history. Albiceleste will host Brazil in 2025.

Note that the total number of teams for the upcoming FIFA World Cup has been increased. So a total of 6 teams from the Latin American region will have the opportunity to play in the World Cup. And the seventh team has to play through the playoffs. Earlier, four teams had to qualify for the World Cup through qualifiers and the fifth through playoffs.
