Manzana is fine-tuning the details for its upcoming October event, where it’s expected to announce new MacBooks and updates to its iPads. For some months it has been rumored that those from Cupertino will present a renewed iPad Pro and today there is information that confirms its existence. Logitech mistakenly leaked two iPad Pro models on one of its product pages.
The Logitech Crayon websitea digital pen for the iPad released in 2018, reveals support for a 6th generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro, as well as an 11-inch iPad Pro. Both with the legend “Coming soon” in the model field. This supports the original report by Mark Gurman, who anticipated an update to the Apple device in October.

While the specifications are unknown, it is said that the new iPad Pro will arrive with the powerful M2 chip, presented in June. Apple’s SoC debuted in the 13-inch MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, although new devices powered by this processor are expected. The technology would also be developing two new chips (M2 Ultra and M2 Extreme) to integrate them into the next generation of MacBook Pro.
Another feature reported a few months ago has to do with the presence of MagSafe. According to Gurman, the next iPad Pro will come with wireless charging using the magnetic system that exists in the iPhone. MagSafe It would open the door to multiple accessories to improve the user experience, such as covers or cases that guarantee us enough battery for a Netflix or Prime Video marathon.
Apple prepares two iPad Pro with M2 chip

Though Logitech reports two new iPad Pro, the specifications do not match the initial rumors. A few months ago it was said that Apple would launch new tablets with 14-inch and 16-inch screens, a considerable jump from the original 12.9-inch screen. Later, an analyst revealed that the 14.1-inch variant would debut with a mini-LED screenwhile another leaker assured that this model would have 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
Refurbished iPad Pros won’t be the only things announced at the October event. apple prepares the most important update of the iPad in many years. Sources indicate that the 10th generation iPad would integrate a USB-C port and a Retina Display screen with the same resolution as the iPad Air. Being the cheapest model, it is expected to arrive with an A14 Bionic processor.
There is a possibility that Apple reveals its mixed reality glasses, with a view to being sold in 2023. A few days ago, the company registered the Reality One, Reality Pro and Reality Processor trademarks. The Reality One would be lighter than an iPhone and more expensive than the rest of the devices, so they will point to a niche market.
The only thing that remains to be known is the date and time of the next Apple event.
