This 2023 we will not have a new iPad, but a report reveals that Manzana is working on one “major refresh of the iPad Pro” for 2024which could include a extensive redesign and an OLED screen.
Was the newsletter poweron from Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg reporter, who confirmed this revelation about the plans of the Cupertino company, which updated the iPad Pro line a few months ago, adding M2 support, but was disappointed that in terms of design they resemble their predecessors, according to BGR.
“I don’t see any major updates in 2023 for the entry-level models, the iPad mini, or the Air. The iPad Pro surely won’t get anything major this year. Instead, look for a major iPad Pro revamp next spring, complete with an updated design and OLED displays for the first timeGurman wrote.
As for what the iPad Pro 2024 would look like, there are no leaked details. Some rumors suggest that Apple wants to include magsage charge, so it is believed that part of the rear panel is made of glass. Also, we could see a larger tablet than previous models and with solid-state buttons.

More Apple Releases
In addition, Gurman touched on the recent release of Apple’s M2 Pro and MacBook Pro’s M2 Max. He also mentioned the delay of augmented reality glasses and the company’s plans to develop a low-end HomePodas well as a fastest apple tv model.
As for new product launches this year, Apple’s AR/VR headsets will be a priority. The insider explained in the new newsletter that the device should cost around $3,000 when it launches later this year.
Apple is reportedly working on a cheaper mixed reality model that could cost just half the price of the high-end, but Gurman didn’t offer a release date.
The Bloomberg reporter also notes in the newsletter that the 2025 MacBook Pro update could include faster M3 chips and even support for touchscreens.
