Antequera CF tests a former First Division

Antequera CF took its first steps this Thursday to prepare for its debut in the First RFEF. The preseason is already a reality in the Malaga team, in which Javi Medina directed his first session as head coach of the whites. At his disposal he had part of the squad that he will have in the third category of national football. However, there was a big surprise.

Among all the Antequera footballers was Francis Guerrero, former Betis player in First division. The man from Malaga, born in Coín, is currently doing a series of tests to wear the Antequera shirt next season. A reinforcement, which if confirmed, would give the team a very notable leap in quality.

Antequera started the preseason this Thursday. The opinion

The truth is that the career of the right winger -functional both as a winger and as a winger- has reached the highest levels of the elite. Formed in the lower categories of the bético group, He played 38 games in the First Division with the first team. He went on loan to Almería and his promising career practically ended in 2020 due to his battered right knee.

Since then, he has barely been able to compete at a high level. He played 4 games this last year at Rayo Majadahonda. HE He has trained for several months at Real Oviedo and was part of the preseason with Albacete last summer without any success. So now he seeks to convince Antequera that the knee is not a problem and that he can play normally again. A signing that, if confirmed, would raise the level of an Antequera that continues to strengthen very well in search of establishing its place in the First RFEF.
