Fans are shocked, but on the other hand are also happy that the actress will be seen in the stunt-based show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’.
Did not leave serial for reality show
Anjum recently told in an interview that she has not left Ekta Kapoor’s serial ‘Kundali Bhagya’ for Rohit Shetty’s reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’. Rather, she was planning to say goodbye to this show for a long time. That’s why it should not be thought at all that for the sake of reality show, he quitted Ekta’s serial.
In a conversation with E-Times, Anjum told that there has been a leap of 20 years in the serial. In such a situation, new actors have been added to the cast. The names of Basir Ali, Paras Kalnawat and Sana Saeed are included in this. All three are going to be seen playing important roles. Anjum feels that this is the time for the new characters in the serial to shine, so she distanced herself from it.
Anjum said- I think the story of the serial has reached a point where it is time to show new characters and their roles in the right way and space. It took six years for the leap in ‘Kundali Bhagya’. I was looking for growth in my career. Was looking for a new storyline. Growth was being seen in the show as well, but after six years growth was seen in it. In such a situation, I felt that Srishti’s character has become old now, she should do something else in real life. For the last six years, I am looking for a good role for myself. I am not saying that Srishti’s character was not good. I was just watching the other storyline. Now because new characters have come in the serial, in such a situation, I feel that there is no power left in Srishti’s role. Anjum is currently on notice period. She says that if she is called back in any other character in the serial, she would like to do it.
