Alberto, Sports Award
Leopoldo Sánchez, head of Telefónica in Málaga, presented the 2023 Sports Award to Unicaja point guard, Alberto Diaz. The Unicaja player, almost recently arrived from Hungary, where Unicaja played the European match the day before, thanked him for the award and dedicated it “to the entire Unicaja team, not only to the sporting field, but also to the people who work in the offices and in the different departments of the club. Thank you for that work in the shadows.” Díaz also congratulated the rest of the winners for “transmitting the Malaga brand nationally and internationally.”
