President Luis Abinader will travel to Ecuador this Sunday to participate in the VI Meeting of the Alliance for Development in Democracy (ADD), to be held in that South American nation next Sunday, his Press Office reported this Saturday.
During the meeting, President Abinader will have several interventions and will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Ecuador, Guillermo Lasso; Panama, José Carrizo, and Costa Rica, Rodriguez Chaves Robles.
The president will travel accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez; Administrative of the Presidency; José Ignacio Paliza, the head of the Presidential Security Corps (Cusep), Jimmy Arias Grullón, and his special assistant, Eylin Beltrán.
The program of the event begins this Sunday when the delegations of Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic arrive at the Mariscal Sucre airport and then in the evening there will be a dinner offered by the President of Ecuador and the First Lady to the Heads of State of the countries of the Alliance for Development in Democracy.
On Monday, March 6, the meeting begins with words of welcome by the President of the Republic of Ecuador, Guillermo Lasso Mendoza, and greetings from the heads of state and heads of delegation.
At 10:03 in the morning (Ecuador time) the words of the presidents of Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and the vice president of Panama will continue.
Then, a report will be made on the evolution of the Alliance and a presentation of the progress of each of the pillars will be made, which includes the intervention of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Costa Rica, Arnoldo André Tinoco, on the pillar of cooperation. , and the intervention of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama, Janaina Tewaney Mencomo, on the political pillar.
Likewise, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic, Roberto Álvarez Gil, will speak about the economic pillar and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador, Juan Carlos Holguín, about the work proposal of the environmental sustainability and circular economy pillar. .
At 10:28 in the morning (Ecuadorian time) the heads of state and delegation will speak on the ADD and future prospects.

The Alliance for Development in Democracy (ADD) is a space for dialogue and strategic coordination initially conceived by the countries of Costa Rica, Panama and the Dominican Republic, to promote economic growth within the framework of democracy, human rights and the objectives of sustainable development.
