In Los Angeles, USA, a gang of looters looted a gas station in Compton. While the individuals stole thousands of dollars worth of goods from the station, the officers had to hide inside.
THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS VALUE STOLEN
The frightening moments were also captured on camera, and the video shows a man breaking the glass door and dozens of looters gathering behind it. A few minutes later, the group was seen buying everything from drinks, snacks, alcohol, and even condoms at the gas station convenience store.
SERIOUS DAMAGE OCCURRED
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told Eyewitness News that thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise was stolen and the store was severely damaged. Greg Johnson, a Compton resident and customer of the looted Arco, said: “This is incredible. Unreal. I’ve never seen anything like this happen here.” said.
Investigators said shots were fired a block from the store, although no injuries were reported.
