MINISTER KOCA: WOUNDED ARE TRANSPORTED TO SANLIURFA WITH 8 AMBULANCES AND 2 UMKE TEAM
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca shared on his Twitter account that the police officers who were martyred in the explosion in Tel Abyad, Syria; He issued a condolence message for Özgür Barçın and Resul Barutçu. Minister Koca shared, “In the explosion that took place in Tel Abyad, Syria, two of our Special Operations police officers were martyred and 7 of our police officers were wounded. The injured were transferred to Şanlıurfa with 8 ambulances and 2 UMKE Teams. May God have mercy on our martyred heroic police officers; to their relatives and our nation. “I would like to express my condolences to the Police Community and wish the injured a speedy recovery. We will do our best for them to be healed as soon as possible,” he said.
Condolence messages from the Security General Directorate (EGM) and the Ministry of National Defense (MSB) for the 2 police officers who were martyred as a result of the explosion in Tel Abyad, Syria. While the expressions “Condolences to our nation” were used in the post made on the official Twitter account of the EGM, General Director of Security Mehmet Aktaş said, “Detection of explosive materials prepared for use in bomb attacks by the PKK/PYD terrorist organization in search and scanning activities in the Syria-Telabyad region in the Peace Spring Operation area. “Our Police Officers Özgür Barçın and Resul Barutcu were wounded in the explosion that took place during the destruction of the city. Despite all the efforts, they could not be saved and became martyrs. May God have mercy on our martyrs, my condolences and patience to their families and our nation,” the statement was shared.
In the message of condolence made on the official Twitter account of the MSB, it was stated, “We wish God’s mercy on our police officers who were martyred on April 30, 2023, and express our condolences to their families and relatives. Condolences to our nation.”
